After over a decade of REBOL releases from Rebol Technologies, the inventor and developer, Carl Sassenrath has decided to open source REBOL 3.
Not yet released, but it sounds like October 1st. The announcement has been long awaited by the advocates of REBOL programming.
As the chair of the International REBOL user group, user.r, I find this news to be of the highest order of awesome.
